Le renfort de manche sur la guitare classique est très important.
La guitare folk a, dans son manche, ce que l’on appelle une trust road, c’est une tige filetée qui permet de régler le manche.
Pour la guitare classique, il n’y a pas ce système et le réglage s’effectue lors de la construction.
Il faut donc s’assurer que le manche ne se déformera pas et que le réglage restera constant malgré les forces de tension des cordes.
Voici la solution que j’utilise pour m’assurer de la stabilité de mes guitares:
J’installe un profilé d’aluminium très résistant et léger dans le manche.
En forme de T, cette barre, qui fait toute la longueur du manche, permet de m’assurer que le manche ne bougera pas.
